The KENSINGTON XL Bioethanol Stove is a substantial sized product with a very impressive large real flame thanks to maximum ventilation and a larger bio ethanol container.
This cylindrical design fireplace comes in a sleek black powder coated finish.
It features a glass door and rounded side glass with a top ventilation grill that directs heat to the front, allowing you to fully enjoy the warmth. The glass surround means you can admire the dancing flames from various angles of the room. This bioethanol stove provides the ambiance of a real fire without the hassle of smoke or ashes
Without doubt it is an alternative to log burners or electric wood-burning effect stoves. It doesn't produce any smoke, therefore you won't need a chimney or a flue.
Also, it doesn't need electricity, installation or maintenance.
Moreover, you can position the Kensington Stove anywhere in your room against a flat wall as a freestanding unit and you can use it with or without the pipe.
Position the stove with a minimum clearance of 3cm away from walls and one metre away from highly flammable materials (e.g. curtains, sofas, etc.), which is more than enough for safety concerns.
However, please be aware, depending on the type of wall paint you have used, since this stove produces around 2–3 kW of heat, in the long run it may cause some discolouration to the wall, therefore we suggest using a heat-resistant paint or protective wall finish.
The fireplace comes with our high grade adjustable stainless-steel Container Small (1.3L) bioethanol fuel burner
also with special Fragrance Diffusers on the lid, making it compatible with our Aura Fragrance Oils. By sliding the lid across slightly, you can easily regulate the flame size, the heat output (2-3 kW) and the burning time (3-6 h).
To create an authentic feel, the fireplace has decorative log storage below and a faux pipe (sold separately)
Do not put ceramic accessories across the flame as this will lead to carbon smells.

absolutely gorgeous and well-chosen set of logs, which easily fills a cylinder stove. my only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the colours don’t match ‘real’ wood stored at the bottom, which makes the difference between the two slightly more obvious. perhaps one very large log to place at the front might help the illusion of a real log fire?
