Introducing our Cylinder Light Pebble Modern XL Bioethanol Stove (EX DISPLAY)
The CYLINDER Modern XL Bioethanol Stove in a light pebble finish is a substantial sized product with a very impressive large real flame thanks to maximum ventilation and a larger bio ethanol container. Without doubt it is an alternative to log burners or electric wood-burning effect stoves. It doesn't produce any smoke, therefore you won't need a chimney or a flue.
Also, it doesn't need electricity, installation or maintenance.
This fireplace comes in light pebble finish but it also comes in white and black finish. It is cylindrical in design with a rounded opening. This allows you to enjoy the dancing flame from different angles. This bioethanol stove will bring the glowing atmosphere of a real open fire without any hassle, smoke or ashes.
Moreover, the Cylinder Stove can be positioned anywhere in your room against a flat wall as a freestanding unit and used with or without the pipe.
This versatile colour lends itself to many different décors. We like to call this “greige” — the new trendy colour which combines pale grey with light beige. It is wonderful for placing against a dark-coloured background for an elegant contrast, or against a light wall for a seamless blend.
Position the stove with a minimum clearance of 3cm away from walls and one metre away from highly flammable materials (e.g. curtains, sofas, etc.), which is more than enough for safety concerns. However, please be aware, depending on the type of wall paint you have used, since this stove produces around 2–3 kW of heat, in the long run it may cause some discolouration to the wall, therefore we suggest using a heat-resistant paint or protective wall finish.
The fireplace comes with our high grade adjustable stainless-steel Container Small (1.3L) bioethanol fuel burner also with special Fragrance Diffusers on the lid, making it compatible with our Aura Fragrance Oils. By sliding the lid across slightly, you can easily regulate the flame size, the heat output (2-3 kW) and the burning time (3-6 h).
To create an authentic feel, the fireplace has decorative log storage below.
Do not put ceramic accessories across the flame as this will lead to carbon smells.

We met Michael at our appointment in the Kensington Showroom. He explained all the different types of fire available and proposed several options for us to choose from, and demonstrated them. He was also able to give advice on their correct fitting and installation.
The fires come with accessories which he also advised on, showed us examples and explained exactly what they were for and how to use them.
At the end of our appointment there was no pressure to purchase anything. However, we left completely confident of our options and choices and placed an online order shortly after.

I ordered the White Cube tabletop fireplace after finding it whilst searching onlineandafter reading previous previews. It arrived within 3 days as advised by the seller and it was well packed to withstand the carrier system. Once assembled, it looks a very nice fireplace. I went with the white unit, purely for my own taste in colour, and it does look stunning. Well made and sturdy. I went for this unit as I can use it indoors or outdoors as required. Obviously, as it is on sale it makes this unit good value for money.

It’s arrived well packaged and looks very smart. When lit it is lovely.
My main issue is that it says burn time of 60 to 90:mins. On both burns I have had 30 mins with filling the receptacle 90 percent full as per instructions. So quite disappointing from a burn time perspective.

Regarding the burn time, we do state an approximate burn time of around 60 minutes in our technical information. However, this can vary depending on factors such as airflow and drafts in the room, which can cause the fuel to burn more quickly.
