With our MONTAGU Black Bioethanol Grate we altered the classic design Bioethanol Basket to suit large fireplaces and fireproof openings.

This is a larger version of our classic bioethanol fuel grate to suit spaces like inglenook fires. This stylish fireplace operates on the same simple principle, but it will produce a larger flame and can burn between 5-7hrs per 3L refill.

Without doubt, it is a perfect solution for old traditional fireplaces & beautiful mantelpieces or period homes with large fireplaces. Moreover, it is classic and neutral in style, therefore it seamlessly blends with any decor, giving you the experience of a roaring real flame where a chimney is not working.

Even though the Montagu Bioethanol fire grate is the aesthetic answer to those who desire a real fireplace, it is also practical and produces a large amount of heat creating an instant warmth and ambiance.

Finally, it is made of steel with Black Satin painted finish and it features a decorative drawer underneath.

Amazing

A few months ago, I moved into a flat in an old house and had to face several months of renovation and building work. I’ve always wanted to have a big traditional fireplace. A friend of mine told me about the concept of bioethanol fires and after doing some research I came across biofires.com. The company seemed nice and the fires were reasonably priced. I couldn’t decide between buying the Black grate or the Montagu grate. The Montagu grate was larger, but it seemed quite expensive. I then went to the showroom and was greeted by a really friendly team. Seeing the fires live made the decision much easier. The difference between the two is amazing – the flame of the Montagu grate is larger, it brings instant warmth and looks majestic. The grate is so stylish and fits my large fireplace perfectly! I've been getting many complaints for it. I can't thank Bio Fires enough. Now my home is complete!

Lexham is Lovely!

We have been looking at Bioehthanol fires for sometime now, and honestly the product has not disappointed! It was really simple to set up, and before sit we knew ot we were sitting back and enjoying!
Not only does it look amazing, the heat output is surprisingly high, making our lounge super cosy.

Hw hghly recommend Biofires as the product we have was packaged v well and delivered v quickly too.
