Our CONVERSION KIT with Small Burner is a clever solution. It’s the absolute simplest way to transform your old fire grate into a beautiful fireplace.
Certainly, this is the easiest and safest way to magically transform your blocked-chimney fireplace into a stunning roaring fire. A real flame will surely bring the whole family together.
Additionally, you can enhance the experience with a selection of amazing fragrances or with our fibre glow that produces an embers effect.

Heat output guidance: 2 – 3kW (This is more than electric fires and comparable to most flueless gas fires); heat is adjustable
Fuel suitable: Bio Ethanol Fuel (minimum ethanol content: 96%). NOTE: Gel fuel is NOT suitable
Logs and Coals are made from special ceramic fibres, therefore they are suitable for fireplaces. NEVER PUT LOGS OR COALS ACROSS THE FLAME but always place them around the flame to make impression of a flame coming through the branches when sitting in front of the fire. Looking from above the flame opening MUST BE kept clear.

Small Burner has been tested by TÜV Rheinland Product Safety and Quality Certification and approved as safe and meeting the requirements and quality standards.

EXTINGUISHING AGENTS:
This fire is using liquid ethanol.
The best agents to extinguish ethanol flame in case of accidental spillage are FOAM or CO2, however CO2 only comes in failry large containers. FOAM extinguisher is available in smaller containers and it works by forming a film on the liquid to extinguish the fire.
To safely extinguish ethanol fire you can also use POWDER extinguisher, however it is going to cover everything you spray it on in a layer of thick sticky powder, permanently damaging the fireplace and surrounding furniture / items.

Small burner kit with the coal bricks fitted perfectly into our existing grate. The flame is a good size and the addition of embers mesh really makes a difference to the authenticity. Also surprisingly heat producing. Waiting for the weather to get colder now.

Works well to give us the look of a living fire
We have moved into a house with beautiful fireplaces, but the chimneys are not usable, so bought ‘the kit’ to see if we could at least get the look of a fire. So far it works well to give us some real flames, and the coal effect is quite realistic - a good compromise and better than an empty grate

Received as expected - no delays. Exactly what we need. Very good company for dealing with. Rang to arrange a suitable delivery date which is excellent given of working hours.
We met Michael at our appointment in the Kensington Showroom. He explained all the different types of fire available and proposed several options for us to choose from, and demonstrated them. He was also able to give advice on their correct fitting and installation.
The fires come with accessories which he also advised on, showed us examples and explained exactly what they were for and how to use them.
At the end of our appointment there was no pressure to purchase anything. However, we left completely confident of our options and choices and placed an online order shortly after.
If you are thinking about a Bio Fire, we highly recommend you speak with Michael first and get some sound advice.

I ordered the White Cube tabletop fireplace after finding it whilst searching onlineandafter reading previous previews. It arrived within 3 days as advised by the seller and it was well packed to withstand the carrier system. Once assembled, it looks a very nice fireplace. I went with the white unit, purely for my own taste in colour, and it does look stunning. Well made and sturdy. I went for this unit as I can use it indoors or outdoors as required. Obviously, as it is on sale it makes this unit good value for money.

My main issue is that it says burn time of 60 to 90:mins. On both burns I have had 30 mins with filling the receptacle 90 percent full as per instructions. So quite disappointing from a burn time perspective.

Regarding the burn time, we do state an approximate burn time of around 60 minutes in our technical information. However, this can vary depending on factors such as airflow and drafts in the room, which can cause the fuel to burn more quickly.
