No wood, timber, MDF base can be anywhere near the container. Particularly make sure that you don’t slot the Bio Container into a wooden construction of any sort, as it produces a lot of heat. All regular fireplace building regulations apply besides having a working chimney. ALWAYS EMPLOY COMMON SENSE WHEN BUILDING YOUR FIREPLACE!
We recommend sourcing fireproof building materials from VITCAS, particularly Vermiculite Boards.

The Gravity Bioethanol Glass Fire is a truly impressive centrepiece. It looks stunning when assembled (which itself is an easy job), gives off good warmth and looks spectacular. The aromas work well, though you need very little of them. I can't think of anything negative to say about it, and the service from Bio Fires was top notch, delivering quickly even in the run up to Christmas, and confirming the delivery date with a phone call.

I originally came in to see you in your showroom with a picture of a gas fire (line of fire) to see if I was able to achieve this look. I never realised you could create this kind of fireplace using bio fuel. Can't wait to use it in the winter!

I love it. No mess, no fumes and more heat
Months ago I promised I would send you a photo of our bespoke Bio fire when it finally got completed. It was lit for the first time over Christmas and I was delighted with it. We had the stainless steel box fabricated to fit our wall slot, designed and built especially to house it. We bought from you 2 x large tanks for the Bio Ethanol. If you want to use the photo on your web site to show other ideas on how folks can bespoke their own designs then please feel free to do so. Many thanks for introducing us to this wonderful system. I love it. No mess, no fumes and more heat than we had thought possible. I honestly thought it was going to be for show only.

We met Michael at our appointment in the Kensington Showroom. He explained all the different types of fire available and proposed several options for us to choose from, and demonstrated them. He was also able to give advice on their correct fitting and installation.
The fires come with accessories which he also advised on, showed us examples and explained exactly what they were for and how to use them.
At the end of our appointment there was no pressure to purchase anything. However, we left completely confident of our options and choices and placed an online order shortly after.
If you are thinking about a Bio Fire, we highly recommend you speak with Michael first and get some sound advice.

It arrived within 3 days as advised by the seller and it was well packed to withstand the carrier system. Once assembled, it looks a very nice fireplace. I went with the white unit, purely for my own taste in colour, and it does look stunning. Well made and sturdy. I went for this unit as I can use it indoors or outdoors as required. Obviously, as it is on sale it makes this unit good value for money.
Super stylish product that has transformed our kitchen/family room. So easy and so clean compared to our wood burner in the lounge. We bought it for ambient aesthetic purposes but are pleasantly surprised with the heat output too.

My main issue is that it says burn time of 60 to 90:mins. On both burns I have had 30 mins with filling the receptacle 90 percent full as per instructions. So quite disappointing from a burn time perspective.

Regarding the burn time, we do state an approximate burn time of around 60 minutes in our technical information. However, this can vary depending on factors such as airflow and drafts in the room, which can cause the fuel to burn more quickly.
