The Westbo Carl Bioethanol Stove is a smaller version of a cast iron made bioethanol stove that combines traditional style with a modern heating alternative to log burners or electric wood-burning effect stoves – no wood or cleaning required.
The Carl is made from cast iron and has a traditional Swedish style take on log burners without the need for a chimney, flue, installation or maintenance.
The cast iron is finished in black for this fireplace. Its shape is cylindrical, and the front has a little door opening. This enables you to view the dancing flame from various perspectives. The blazing aura of a real fire stove will be replicated by this bioethanol stove without the trouble, smoke or ashes.
The Westbo Carl can be positioned anywhere in your room against a flat wall as a freestanding unit.
Position the stove with a minimum clearance of 3cm away from walls and one metre away from highly flammable materials (e.g. curtains, sofas, etc.). Place stove against heat-resistant surfaces and walls only.
The fireplace comes with our high grade adjustable stainless-steel Container Small (1.2L) bioethanol fuel burner, making it compatible with our Fibre Glow. By sliding the lid across slightly, you can easily regulate the flame size, the heat output (2-3 kW) and the burning time (3-4 h).
Do not put ceramic accessories across the flame as this will lead to carbon smells.
