Converting an old wall-hanging electric fireplace? Here is an example of one. Interior designer Marie Soliman from Bergman Interiors contacted us when she was renovating her home and looking for alternatives to her existing electric fire to be able to create a cosier atmosphere with a real flame.

After checking the selection of our freestanding fireplaces, she decided to go for one of our most popular and elegant products – Roma Bio Fireplace.

Roma Bio Fireplace is a self-contained piece of furniture in a cream wood satin finish. It  brings instant warmth and style without the need for a chimney or installation. Moreover, it doesn’t have any fixings and you can easily place it against a flat wall and underneath a TV.

This is just an example of a typical DIY refurbishing project to demonstrate how easily you can renovate your fireplace and give your living room a new look. All she had to do was remove her old electric fireplace from the existing wall and use plasterboard to create a new flat wall surface to install the unit against.

We’re absolutely amazed with the final result! The Roma Fireplace fits Marie’s beautiful home perfectly. The clean lines and simple fireplace decor contribute to the minimalist, hygge feel of the interior.

Thank you so much for the photos, Marie!
